Tour Itinerary

  • The journey begins in the morning in Bhubaneswar. It takes about 2.5 to 3 hours to get to Chilika Lake.
  • Once there, you can take a boat ride to discover the lake's biodiversity, which includes migratory birds, Irrawaddy dolphins, and beautiful scenery.
  • Chilika Lake is Asia's largest brackish water lagoon and a significant bird sanctuary.

  • Visit Taratarini Temple: Spend the morning absorbing Taratarini Temple's spiritual ambiance. Investigate its elaborate construction, make your prayers, and take in the serene ambiance of this hallowed location.
  • Make a stop at the Shree Jagannath Temple in Khallikot, Ganjam, Odisha, on the way to Nirmala Jhara. Admire its magnificent architecture and pay your respects to Lord Jagannath, a local god.

  • Monument Fees / Entrance Tickets: Visitors are required to pay separate admission fees to tourist attractions or monuments.
  • Guide Fees: Hiring a guide for a tour of the area is not included in the package.
  • Boating: Guests are responsible for paying any fees associated with any boat rides or water sports.
  • Temple Darshan Rituals: Dakshina to Purohit: Offerings or donations given to priests during temple visits are not part of the package and are optional.
  • Meals Explicit: Lunches and any other meals, snacks, or drinks that aren't mentioned in the inclusions aren't covered.
  • Tips, laundry, porterage, etc.
  • Personal costs such as laundry, porter fees, and gratuities to wait staff are not included.
  • Unexpected Expenses: Any unforeseen costs resulting from Natural disasters (such as floods,earthquakes) A rise in the cost of gasoline or taxes
  • The package will not cover any expenses that are not specified in the inclusions.



Payment Policy

  •  First Payment (65%): To guarantee your reservation and guarantee your place on the tour, you must pay a sizeable amount (65%) in advance.
  • The remaining 35% must be paid prior to the departure date. This is the final payment. This guarantees that you are ready to go and that your reservation has been paid in full.

Cancellation Policy

  • The sum paid for the reservation is non-refundable. The original booking fee will not be reimbursed, regardless of when you cancel.
  • Refund fees are contingent upon the date of notification: The cancellation cost increases as you approach your departure date.

30% of the total trip cost if booked 30-44 days in advance of arrival.

25% of the total trip cost if booked 15–29 days in advance of arrival.

Refundable 100% of the total trip cost if cancellation occurs 0–14 days prior to arrival.

  • A written cancellation is required: Any cancellations must be sent to care@hindudevalayayatra.com, the email address of Hindu Devalaya Yatra.
  • The next working day is taken into account for weekend cancellations: Refunds submitted on Sundays are handled the next business day (Monday).
  • Situations beyond your control: Should inclement weather, or natural calamities occur, Hindu Devalaya Yatra will make every effort to adhere to the schedule, notwithstanding any unanticipated events, local problems, or official directives. But in these circumstances, there won't be any reimbursements given.
  • Unexpected events prior to trip departure: Hindu Devalaya Yatra will provide a voucher for the entire payment (100%), in the event that the trip cannot commence owing to unforeseen circumstances before to the commencement date. Within a year after it is issued, this coupon can be used for another trip.
     

Terms & Conditions

Items to Pack for a Trip:

  • Winter apparel includes a fleece jacket, thermal wear, shorts (for layering), bottoms, and socks made of wool and cotton.
  • Summer attire includes T-shirts, shorts, caps, cotton shirts, and slacks to keep cool during the hot weather.
  • Toiletries: To keep your skin healthy and protected, use lip balm, wet wipes, sunscreen, and skin moisturizer.
  • Medical Supplies: Personal medications, insect repellent, medication for altitude sickness, and salts to rehydrate in order to stay healthy while traveling.
  • Sunglasses, rubber slippers, a dust mask for dusty areas, a power bank for electronics, and chocolates are optional items.

Optional Services:

Items Suggested: Make sure you have identification, appropriate seasonal clothing (if needed), basic hygiene products, first aid supplies, and optional personal items for ease of access.

What to Wear to a Temple Visit:

  • For men: Pancha with a shirt, or Kurta with pyjamas or dhoti.
  • Ladies: Half saree with Chudidhar, or Dupatta/Saree.

Note: You are not allowed to wear jeans, track suits, or night pants or other Western apparel.

Yatra guidelines:

Activities Prohibited:

  • No drinking, smoking, or using prohibited substances: Completely prohibited during the Yatra. If this is broken, participants will be kicked off the trip and won't get a reimbursement for the time they spent there.

Nutritional Limitations:

  • No Non-Vegetarian Food, Alcohol, or Intoxicants: In order to preserve the pilgrimage's holiness, these are forbidden during the Yatra.
