Sri Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple, located in Andhra Pradesh, is one of the most sacred shrines in South India. The temple is beautifully positioned atop the flat summit of the Nallamalai Hills, offering a wonderful combination of nature and devotion. The temple stands on the right bank of the River Krishna, amidst deep valleys and thick forests. As per Hindu Puranas, Lord Mallikarjuna Swamy is worshipped as a form of Lord Shiva. Within a single temple premise.

Tour Itinerary

Pickup from Hyderabad airport or railway station.
Visit Sri Birla Mandir, Sri Jagannath Temple, and Sri Keesaragutta Temple.
Drive to Srisailam via the scenic Nallamala forest.
En route darshan at Sri Sakshi Ganapati Temple.
Check-in and overnight stay in Srisailam.

Payment Policy

  • At the time of booking, a 50% down payment of the entire tour cost is needed to secure your spot.
  • The remaining balance of 50% must be settled on or before the travel start date to ensure smooth participation in the yatra.

Cancellation Policy

  • 50% cancellation fee for packages canceled 30 to 45 days before arrival.
  • Seventy-five percent of the total fee will be charged for cancellations made between 15 and 29 days.
  • Less than 14 days before the trip date, cancellations or no-shows will not be eligible for a reimbursement.
  • Any request to cancel must be made in writing during business hours, which are Monday through Saturday.
  • Natural disasters or weather-related delays will be handled in line with the terms of the voucher and the tour schedule.

Temple Darshan Notes

  • Drivers assist only up to darshan or seva counters
  • Devotees must purchase all seva and darshan tickets directly
  • Queues may be longer during weekends and festival days
  • Only Satvik vegetarian food is served during the tour
  • Travel and pricing are tentative until hotel confirmation
  • Routes may vary due to weather, strikes, or local conditions
  • Fuel surcharge, if any, will be informed beforehand
  • Travel insurance is optional but recommended.

Code and Temple Protocol

  • Men: Dhoti with shirt or kurta (no jeans or shorts)
  • Women: Saree or churidar with dupatta (no western wear)
  • Electronics are not allowed inside temple premises
  • Printed darshan tickets and valid ID are required for entry

Hotel Standards

  • Only 3-star and above properties are used
  • Hotels are chosen for safety, cleanliness, and proximity to temples 

Cleanliness and Comfort

  • Bottled water provided daily
  • Sanitized vehicles with trained drivers
  • A traditional welcome kit provided upon arrival

  • It is forbidden to smoke or drink during the yatra.
